​The continuous humidity and temperature within the prosthetic socket is a true issue for amputees. Temperature and humidity increase the possibility of skin damage due to friction inside the liners and fit of the socket creating the greenhouse effect.
BREIF
Creating a solution for prosthesis users to effectively manage excessive residual limb perspiration caused by their liner and socket to provide users with a comfortable experience and the ability to utilise prostheses for extended periods of time.
